Dutchtown Kids
Our Inspiration
"Then little children were brought to Him that He might put [His] hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And He laid [His] hands on them and departed from there." Matthew 19:13-15
Our Direction
In this passage, Jesus told his disciples to let the little children come to Him and demonstrated His compassion by touching and blessing the children before they left His presence. Because we are mondern day disciples and love Jesus, we desire to emulate Him, sharing God's love and teaching children His Word and His ways.

9:30 -10:30 a.m.
We look forward to having your children join us for Bible-based programs that integrate fun, learning and spiritual growth. While our main focus is teaching your children about God and His will in their lives, our Sunday School teachers plan age-appropriate lessons to encourage spiritual growth and fellowship to make the classes stimulating and enjoyable.
Children move to higher-level classes as they mature, with promotion to new classes occurring the first Sunday in September. Classes are structured according to school grade.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held for one week in the summer from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Bible instruction and fun activities are combined for an awesome week. The children spend time in Bible study, singing songs, doing crafts and learning about missions.
Other Events
Parties and other get-togethers are held throughout the year so children have time to just hang out and get to know each other. There also are times when students give short presentations, such as reciting Bible verses or singing, during church services.
Child Protection Policy
Dutchtown Baptist Church recognizes the importance of protecting children from all forms of abuse. Therefore, through the implementation of a Child-Protection Policy, Dutchtown Baptist Church offers a safe environment to every child participating in a church-sponsored children’s activity. To provide security for your child, the church utilizes the services of Child Guard Systems, Inc., a company dedicated to the certification of every volunteer and staff person who works with minors in the care of Dutchtown Baptist Church. Child Guard Systems, Inc. performs background and criminal checks of individuals seeking to become “approved workers” within the children’s department. Approval requires that all workers pass these checks, be 18 years of age or older, sign a code of ethics, and be members of the church for at least six months. Every location occupied by children at a Dutchtown Baptist Church activity will maintain a minimum of two approved workers. These measures and other requirements as delineated in the Child Protection Policy will lower the risk of harm to your child. We desire for your family to have a positive experience at Dutchtown Baptist Church.
