Our Inspiration
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phillippians 4:6-7
Our Direction
Prayer Ministry at Dutchtown Baptist Church is intentional. Corporately, our prayer teams meet specificially to listen for God's direction and for needs in our families, our community, our nation and our world. We have a prayer chain that initiates at a single call, email or personal request. Prayer is personal. Individually, we are challenged to take time everyday and be with God. God helps us sift through the confusion with wisdom. In prayer, God connects us to a higher calling and a life with purpose.
Life that is full and meaningful is one that has solid moments of quietness. Being quiet is incredibly hard in our media driven life with all the must have devices. We seem to be always connected, but to what? Prayer is the one connection we can not fail to make! The noise of the world will block out the truth. The best thing about prayer is...if in doubt God says,
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3
